I spoke to John and explained that I blew the engine in my Jeep and wanted to replace it with a Jasper rebuilt and I also added a rebuilt trans to the list. John keeped me updated through the entire build. Really clean shop and install. Very knowledgeable and certified mechanic. Outlawed is a trust worthy off road shop. Total pros! See you on the trail.

Jon and the guys at outlawed customs are the best. Thank you to all of them
Wish you could give zero stars. The only thing worse than the owners quality of work is the size of his ego. Do not waste your time or money.

Just figured I’d share my experience with Outlawed. I will say the first time I brought my truck to their shop I had no complaints. I got a re torque done on my lift kit that was dealer installed and an alignment. They were able to get the alignment straightened out and was pleased with the outcome. My next visit was for a complaint of a popping or clunking noise from the drivers side front of the truck along with a vibration when letting off the throttle at 65-70mph or above. They determined that the pitman arm nut was dangerously loose and needed to be replaced which I had them do. Picked the truck up and the clunk was still there. Unfortunately I work out of town and don’t have the time to take the truck back and express my concerns of the noise still being there. The truck was never test driven while at the shop and they just assumed the issue was fixed with the pitman arm nut. I day or so later I crawled under the truck myself and immediately could tell the track bar joints were wore out as I could rock the bar back and forth and imitate the noise from under the truck, not to mention the rubber boot was visibly torn and damaged which should have been pretty obvious while they were under the truck attempting to find the cause of the noise. Keep in mind on the repair order it states they had to remove the track bar in order to make the repair and yet they failed to notice the damaged joints? I brought the truck back in today 4/2 to schedule another appointment to have the track bar repaired and when I stopped in and asked if they could take a quick glance at the track bar just to verify what I was seeing and order the parts they refused and said I needed to make an appointment. Again, I can clearly see with an untrained eye that the clunk is coming from there and I just needed them to order the correct parts and if schedule an appointment to bring the truck in for the repair. I asked if there was any way they could just take a 30 second look at it to avoid a whole unnecessary appointment but again they refused. The truck is also lifted 6” on 37” tires so no need to put it on a lift. Just rubs me the wrong way that as a customer I did everything you asked to this point with making appointments and leaving my truck at their shop for multiple days to have a repair done and it never actually got fixed. Then I’m told “make an appointment to drop it off and we’ll look at it”…no thanks, I did that once and wasted my time and somewhat my money as well. Initially they earned a life long customer as I always try to give my business to small, local businesses, but now I think I’ll find another shop who has some flexibility with repeat customers especially when they failed to fix my issue in the first place.
Listen man here’s the situation as you can see. Everyone comes here and we are super busy and the issue was as I was in the middle of an alignment and that could not stop what I was doing to talk to you. You had a dangerously loose Pitman arm, which was causing steering slop we replaced that because the dealership doesn’t even know that they are one time use nut. If you have an issue, we unfortunately have to stop what we’re doing to go out there and check a clunk. There’s nothing that I could do for you at that point I need to visually inspect it and come to the conclusion of what needs to be replaced. It’s very easy for you to leave a review when something could’ve been so simply taken care of but my guy tried to stop you and you kept on walking out so you didn’t even give us the chance to fix an issue that wasn’t caused by us. Instead when he told you that you needed to make an appointment, you rolled your eyes and walked out if you want to schedule to have us check and repair it let us know!
Quick prompt great service. Highly recommend for all your devices needs
